What: An evening with Zonin Vineyards.  Taste highly rated wines from their Italian portfolio from different parts of Italy.

Where: Maggiano's Restaurant 7401 South Clinton Street Englewood, CO 80112-3 I-25 to Dry Creek on the EAST side of the highway, You'll see the restaurant on the north side of Belleview facing the highway on the outer road. From Dry Creek turn left on S. Clinton and you'll see it right there on the left.. Light Rail to the Dry Creek exit and then take the bridge across from the light rail.

Crowd: Mostly Young/Mid Professionals

Wines: The wines are each from different parts of the Zonin Portfolio  Zonin owns wineries in different parts of Italy.

Feudo Principi di Butera Chardonnay IGT - Sicily paired with Flatbread Arugula, Proscuitto and Grana Parma

Zonin Rose DOCG - Veneto paired with Smoked Salmon Napoleon

Feudo Principi di Butera Nero d'Avola IGT - Sicily paired with Stuffed Mini Cherry Tomato

Castello d'Albola Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG - Tuscany paired with roast sirloin roulade, which is has crispy onion strings

Zonin Ripasso Superiore DOC - Valpolicella paired with Sausage and Peppers

Baccorosa Spumante Dolce paired with Chocolate Zuccotto Cake (with a chocolate Sambuca mousse and chocolate ganache).

Dinner After The Event: usually 30-40 people on a Sat night. Please RSVP on eventbrite for this portion of the event so we can get a headcount for staffing. Maggiano's has affordable meals and we will also have the three course family style menu for the group at $28.95

About our events: Denver Wine Meetup/UncorkedDenver.com events are a unique opportunity to socialize with other young/mid professionals and make new friends over at a wine and food pairing, with select wines paired with appetizers, sometimes with the winemaker visiting.

Our events differ from the many "happy hours" in a bar groups around Denver and high priced wine organizations, distributor/festival type events as the events are a wine social with the opportunity to meet a winemaker or wine manager and focus on learning about a winery and/or a varietal. Our events provide members a unique wine and culinary pairing event with the aspect of a social mixer at an affordable price. Although our events are not "singles" events, we try to keep an even split of males, females  and couples at our events.

Please note: Our party area will be private (and blocked from the public) and we will turn away folks who do not have a ticket as we must provide the headcount to the chef and winemaker.   This event will be limited to 100 attendees due to space
